The Giants just placed a 1st round tender on Victor Cruz. Wallace, Cruz, Hartline and Bess.... hmmmm....

You get experience without having to wait on the rookie learning curve. And if you want to please the locals - how many residents would love to see salsa dancing after a TD. Mr. Ross your fans would be dancing in the stadium aisles.

I know we have plenty of needs, but if you're looking at a WR at #1 pick, why not give it up for a proven playmaker...

According to New York Giants CEO John Mara, the club has placed the highest possible tender on restricted free agent wide receiver Victor Cruz, Mike Garafolo of USA Today Sports reports.

The first-round restricted free agent tender is worth $2.879 million in non-guaranteed base salary in 2013. Cruz, who joined the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of UMASS, has earned around $1.25 million in salary during his first three seasons in the NFL.

Cruz missed most of his rookie season with a hamstring injury. Over the last two seasons, however, Cruz has 168 receptions for 2,628 yards and 19 touchdowns, earning second-team All-Pro honors in 2011 and Pro Bowl honors after the 2012 season.
