Greg Jennings (No. 85) wants money, a coach and quarterback at his next stop. - Jonathan Daniel
Packers receiver Greg Jennings will hit the free agent market on Tuesday afternoon, and his recent comments suggest he's looking for more than just a pay day from his next employer.
File this in the "revealing the secrets of the universe" category.
Per a report from Pro Football Talk, Green Bay receiver Greg Jennings, who will hit the free agent market on Tuesday afternoon, recently spoke with USA Today, and made it clear that he needs something more than just a big pay day from his next team.
"Coaching means a lot, the dynamic of the team, " Jennings told USA Today's Robert Klemko in a story published earlier today. "To me, the quarterback means a lot, if they have one or not, and I have to make sure my family is comfortable."
Interesting. We already know Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin satisfies Jennings' coaching criteria, but what does the receiver think of Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill?
Reports indicate that there has been very little contact between Jennings' agent, Eugene Parker, and the Dolphins since the league opened its "soft" free agency period on Friday. Whether that news is a smokescreen or rather a sign that the team will look to make a big splash elsewhere on Tuesday remains to be seen.
