Everyone knows by now that a good game of poker requires some gamesmanship. So on Tuesday, when teams are able to actually sign FA’s, don't expect a lot of the information you read or hear about to be completely accurate. Agents and teams use media personalities to barter better deals for there positions. So when you read about something or listen to someone on radio or TV on a specific deal, its not always a accurate depiction of whats going on. Like the Patriots being interested in signing Mike Wallace, thats just to drive the price up on a division foe. Example, Bill Parcels did it to the Jets when he drove the price up on Calvin Pace. As the Dolphins GM, he got into a bidding war only to back off at the last minute leaving the Jets with an overpriced player they eventually cut. So just keep in mind that games in the NFL are not always played on the football field.
