Last week, I read with interest how the Cowboys were over the cap and how the Dolphins were targeting Mile Austin since he was most likely going to be a Cap Casualty. However, The Cowboys were not going to let that happen. The team managed to rework the contracts of Miles Austin, Demarcus Ware, Jason Wiitten, Brandon Carr and Ryan Cook. They resigned some of their top players and WIPED OUT $20,000,000 they were projected to be OVER the cap. Meanwhile over in Davie, Jeff Ireland has $40 or $50,000, 000 in cap space and has not signed Jake Long, Brian Hartline, Sean Smith, Anthony Fasano, Reggie Bush or Randy Starks. We read about S Smith going to KC, R Bush going to a team that knows how to use him properly, Jake Long going anywhere. I know that he can't pull a Jeff Luria type Miami Marlins maneuver. However, fish here in Miami don't seem to be able to get above water!
