The NFL offseason is in full swing, with teams all scouring the college ranks and free agent markets, getting ready to execute the plans for 2013 that they hope will bring them playoff success. With the NFL Combine starting next week, here's a look at the Miami Dolphins current depth chart.
Next week, the NFL will hold the annual Scouting Combine, with general managers, coaches, and scouts all probing draft eligible prospects, hoping they can find that diamond in the rough to build around for their team. A couple weeks later, free agency will start, and teams will look to plug those key veterans into place, while fans all clamor over who their favorite team should chase, and complain every time a big name signs somewhere else.
So far this offseason, we have spent a lot of time talking about who the Miami Dolphins should pursue, as well as who they should re-sign. The team has nearly $50 million in cap space for next year, but also has some big holes to fill. Rather than again look at all of the needs and targets, here's a look at who is already under contract for the Dolphins, broken down by depth chart.
In the preseason, NFL teams can have up to 90 players on their roster.
