Dolphins Rookie Report Card: Week 16

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

Each week, we'll grade the performance of each 2013 Miami Dolphins draft pick and comment on their development. Here's the latest round of grades following Miami's embarrassing 19-0 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

DE Dion Jordan (1st Round Pick, 3rd overall). Grade: C

Jordan made a handful of tackles in his 15 defensive plays, but most of them occured a few yards downfield. Not much positive impact from the rookie linebacker in very limited action.

Season GPA: 2.48 Team Rank: 2nd

CB Jamar Taylor (2nd Round Pick, 54th overall). Grade: I (Incomplete)

Taylor was active, but didn't appear to get on the field on defense or special teams.

Season GPA: 1.57 Team Rank: 9th

OL Dallas Thomas (3rd Round Pick, 77th overall). Grade: I (Incomplete)

Nothing for Thomas, either

Season GPA: 2.00 Team Rank: 4th

CB Will Davis (3rd Round Pick, 93rd overall). Grade: C-

Davis was on the field for just one running play, where he had a shot at making the tackle on the running back from his cornerback spot but he fell off Fred Jackson's shoulder as if he was a Buffalo afternoon raindrop.

Season GPA: 1.47 Team Rank: 8th

LB Jelani Jenkins (4th Round Pick, 104th overall). Grade: C

Jenkins' pass coverage services were not needed as much against the run-heavy Bills. He played five snaps and recorded one tackle.

Season GPA: 1.87 Team Rank: 7th

Dion Sims (4th Round Pick, 106th overall). Grade: C

Sims served his usual inline blocking role, and was not targeted in the passing game. No impact.

Season GPA: 1.94 Team Rank: 6th

RB Mike Gillislee (5th Round Pick, 164th overall). Grade: I (Incomplete)

Gillislee was inactive as both Thomas and Miller were healthy.

Season GPA: 2.43 Team Rank: 3rd

K Caleb Sturgis (5th Round Pick, 166th overall). Grade: C

The rookie didn't get an opportunity to kick for any points on a day that the guy he replaced, Bills kicker Dan Carpenter, nailed 4-of-4 field goal attempts. Sturgis did send his only kickoff for a touchback.

Season GPA: 3.03 Team Rank: 1st

DB Don Jones (7th Round Pick, 250th overall). Grade: C

Jones was able to get into position to make plays on the punt coverage unit, but wasn't able to finish them off. Not a bad day, but could have been better.

Season GPA: 1.96 Team Rank: 5th
