SI.com's Peter King posted his 2012-2013 NFL All Pro Team today. While this is in no way an official award, it is nice to see a Miami Dolphins player land on the list. In this case, it is defensive end Cameron Wake.
In his Monday Morning Quarterback article this week, SI.com's Peter King posted his All-Pro list for the 2012-2013 NFL season. Included on that All-Pro team was one Miami Dolphins player, defensive end Cameron Wake.
Wake recorded a career high 15 sacks this season, with 53 tackles, three forced fumbles, and a pass defensed this year. Wake was selected to the 2013 Pro Bowl as a starter for the AFC, and has the most sacks in Miami history (43) over his first four years.
Throughout the entire season, Wake was ranked as the top pass rusher in the league by ProFootballFocus. They recorded him as having 87 quarterback disruptions on the year, a stat combining sacks, QB hurries, and QB hits.
Joining Wake on the defensive line for King's All-Pro team were defensive end J.J. Watt from the Houston Texans and defensive tackles Geno Atkins from the Cincinnati Bengals and Vince Wilfork from the New England Patriots.
