With the Miami Dolphins holding on to their head coach and general manager this offseason, there is not a lot of movement for the Dolphins at this time of year. However, that doesn't mean the AFC East is not seeing changes. The Buffalo Bills are currently hunting for their next head coach, with several interviews already complete, and others scheduled.
Earlier this week, the Buffalo Bills fired head coach Chan Gailey, along with the entire coaching staff. Now, as the Miami Dolphins' AFC East rivals look for their next coach, it's important that we keep tabs on what they are doing, and who they are interviewing.
Friend of the Phinsider, Brian Galliford, from over at Buffalo Rumblings, is doing a great job keeping up with all the Bills rumors. Here's a quick look at who could be the next head coach up in western New York.
Interview Complete:
- Ken Wisenhunt - Former Arizona Cardinals head coach; also interviewed with Cleveland
- Ray Horton - Arizona Cardinals Defensive Coordinator; also interviewed with Cleveland and Arizona
Interviews Scheduled:
- Chip Kelly (Friday) - University of Oregon head coach; also targeted by Cleveland, Philadelphia, and others
- Mike McCoy (Saturday) - Denver Broncos offensive coordinator; interviewing with Arizona, Philadelphia, Chicago
- Lovie Smith ("This Weekend") - Former Chicago Bears head coach
