2013 NFL Draft video review: Barkevious Mingo

The Phinsider's video review of 2013 NFL Draft prospects continues with a look at the biggest boom-or-bust prospect in this year's class: LSU defensive end Barkevious Mingo.

Over the course of the past month, we've looked at tape of several of the big-name prospects in this year's NFL Draft. And with each tape has been the inclusion of some scouting and analysis notes--nothing fancy, but certainly details to keep in mind as the 2013 pre-draft season moves further and further along.

Well, we're going to try a different approach to scouting and analysis for today's featured prospect: LSU pass-rush juggernaut Barkevious Mingo. By now, we've heard the good and the bad about Mingo: top-end freak athlete with great length; a premier athlete who completely lacks instinct and the ability to read the game; a raw, one-dimensional speed rusher, but might be the best speed-rush prospect to come along in ages; a player who is all flash and substance. You probably get the idea.

Instead of attempting to refute or substantiate any of the above claims, we're simply going to roll footage of Mingo's 2012 Chick-Fil-A Bowl performance against Clemson and let the tape speak for itself. There will be no further commentary from this side. When you're finished with the video, leave your own analysis and thoughts in the comment section.

Enjoy!
