The New York Jets are searching for their next general manager, and their search appears to have turned to former Miami Dolphins general manager Randy Mueller.
The New York Jets have interviewed more potential general managers than anyone can track. They've hit the Miami Dolphins for permission to interview their assistant general manager Brian Gaine, possibly interviewing Jeff Ireland's right hand man twice (much to Jets fans' consternation).
Now, it looks as though they would rather turn their attention to the man who had such first round draft picks with the Dolphins as Ronnie Brown, Jason Allen, and Ted Ginn, Jr - Randy Mueller. Mueller has reportedly been interviewed by the Jets for the GM position, though it appears they won't be hiring the former Dolphins GM. Since 2008, Muller has been a "Senior Executive" for the San Diego Chargers.
He was considered for the Indianapolis Colts general manager position in 2012.
