The Buffalo Bills took on the New York Jets and won 28 - 9.
Ryan Fitzpatrick went 12/26, 225 yards, and 1 touchdown. Reports out of Buffalo state that the Bills ownership wants a franchise quarterback. The Bills pick at #8. I count 6 teams in front of them could use a franchise quarterback. Will the Bills trade up or stay put?
C.J. Spiller has been a great player for the Bills all year. Spiller had 24 carries for 59 yards, but also had 2 receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown.
Stevie Johnson led the Bills receivers with 6 receptions for 111 yards. The Bills could use a complementary receiver for Johnson. Maybe in free agency or somewhere in the draft.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Ugh. The New England Patriots took on the Miami Dolphins and dismantled them, 28 - 0.
I hate Tom Brady, but I got to respect him because he is such a great player. Brady went 22/36, 284 yards, and 2 touchdowns. As long as the Pats have Brady, they will always be Super Bowl Contenders. However, I've noticed Brady has been pretty inaccurate on throws he usually makes.
Steven Ridley has been a surprising player on this Patriots offense. He had 20 carries for 74 yards and 2 touchdowns. He's been great all season and has really helped Brady on play action.
He continues to be a Dolphins killer, Wes Welker had 8 receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown. Rob Gronkowski had 2 receptions for 42 yards and 1 touchdown.
NEW YORK JETS
As stated above, the Jets lost to the Bills 28 - 9.
After being benched last week, Mark Sanchez started this game. 17/35, 205 yards, and 1 interception. He needs to go. He is so inconsistent. However, he will probably be back next year. The Jets pick at #9 and the teams in front of them desperately need a quarterback. The Jets will be mediocre until they find a replacement for Sanchez.
Shonn Greene had 19 carries for 74 yards. He's been bright spot on this Jets teams that has struggled all season.
Jeremy Kerley had 3 receptions for 88 yards. Braylon Edwards had 4 receptions for 42 yards. I thought out receivers were bad.
