Ryan Tannehill Sets Miami Dolphins Franchise Rookie Passing Yards Record

The Miami Dolphins are playing the Arizona Cardinals this afternoon. Late in the fourth quarter, rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill set the Miami rookie passing yard record.

The Miami Dolphins have a new record for single game passing yardage from a rookie. So far during the game against the Arizona Cardinals today, Ryan Tannehill has thrown for 418 yard, passing Dan Marino on the team's rookie passing charts. Marino threw for 322 yards in 1983.

This is the play that set the record, an 80-yard touchdown to Brian Hartline, who has set the franchise receiving yardage mark with 245 so far today:
