Can we please take a look at our options at WR or the ones we have on the roster??
They are constantly saying the a WR needs to step up this and that, and while I like the way that we are coming along, ban we please allow some of the WRs to actually play to see what they can do? Can we resign Roberto Wallace and let him and Rishard get some touches?? Or sign Plax even. You want to see if these WRs can make plays you have to put them in the game to see if they can make plays, see if you can rely on them.
I know practice is what coaches like to see people react and make plays but on the field on Sundays (Mondays and Thursdays) are when they count the most, thats how unknowns become known. Roberto had a decent preseason, everyone was dropping balls so you cant say he ones he did drop were a BIG ISSUE, but you want to cut a 6'4 WR that had started building something with RT but you want to sign a 5'11 (generous) WR in Armstrong also?
While I like our direction we are going in, I am also looking for those pieces to be taken care of, This team needs a big red zone target, a speedster, and a few mix up pieces here and there. We have most things expect that red zone target.
Lets please look into some pieces and either let what we have on our team play and see what they can do so that we can make proper decisions on them....
