Last Sunday, Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush injured his knee. After sitting out practice yesterday, he returned to limited work today.

Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush suffered a knee injury last Sunday against the New York Jets. While Bush's knee injury was initially thought to mean he would miss a few weeks of this season, it now appears Bush may be preparing to play this weekend against the Arizona Cardinals.

Bush was held out of practice yesterday, only working with the team during stretches, before doing a light workout on the sidelines. However, according to Tweets from the Palm Beach Post's Ben Volin, Bush returned to practice today, working out during all of the team's non-contact drills.

Bush's presence will be important for the Dolphins this Sunday. The Cardinals are currently tenth in the league in total defense, and ninth against the pass, but they fall to seventeenth against the run. The Cardinals are allowing 106.0 yards per game on the ground, while the Dolphins are currently fourth in the league in rushing offense, averaging over 175 yards per game.

Bush, through two-and-a-half games, Bush is fifth in the league in rushing with 302 yards, just 21 yards behind NFL leader, Kansas City Chiefs' running back Jamaal Charles. Bush is averaging 6.0 yards per carry this year, on 50 rushing attempts.
