I have been watching the sports channels the last couple of days and heard every analyst say that Oakland is the better team, and that Miami has no chance in the game. Now when you watch them all they can say is that it was a hard week for the Raiders, they had a short week with playing on Monday night and had to deal with the heat, I don't know about anyone else but to me it just sounds like a bunch of excuses that have no merit, I mean are they or are they not professional football players, and did they not go through OTA's during the summer. In my honest opinion they are basically saying that it was just a fluke that Miami won. I would think that after this game maybe, just maybe they would give us credit where credit is due, in our first 2 games we have went up against 2 of the best RB's in the game and have only given up an average of 53yds a game, and we have a league low 2.2 yds per carry average. I realize our weakness is in pass defense where we are at the bottom of the league and I feel a lot of that has to do with Davis being traded. I just don't think this team has gotten the respect that it deserves, and I hope the players on the team use that as a chip on their shoulder. I see this being an 8-10 win team maybe 11 I know that I may see this from a different point of view than most but I really think we have a better team than most people think.
