That The Dolphins are one of the better teams in the AFC.

I understand that I am a homer. Although being from Maine it is as far away from Miami as anyother place on the Atlantic coast. But if you truly just look at the black and white or the facts of this season so far we are one of the better teams after 2 games.

Houston is one the best that is safe to say. If you look at that game Miami was in control and right with them for the first 25 minutes. Then one of the strangest 5 minutes of football happened. I have watched alot of football and aside from a colts bucs game 9 or so years ago I do not remember a stretch like that where luck played such a big part. all the pundits pointed out that Miami was bad and see we told you so they are bad. But tipped passes for picks a RB almost Knocked out a few short fields against a team that has been told they stink all preseason and boom 21 points in less then 5 minutes. So I do not attribute this 5 minutes to a bad football team. If it was because they were a bad team seems to me they would have gotten blasted in the second half but they didnt. Granted they gave up some yards but the Texans did not let off the gas and Miami kept them out of the endzone. So for 55 minutes of football against one of the best teams in the AFC they were right there.

Against the Raiders they looked good, Very good. Yes it was a short week and a lot of travel for the Raiders who people say are bad but they smashed them. It really was not close RT could have passed all day against them but with Bush and Miller running like that why bother. RT looks very very good after 2 games the D is coming together and Hartline looks like a good #1 with Bess one of the better slot recievers in the League. How was the O line yesterday? pretty good Yea Jake got beat a couple of times and the rookie missed a block but the run blocking was great and the right side looked good. I really believe the Phins have showed after 2 games (yes it is early I know) There only real weakness right now is the secondary.

So everyone chattering about Ross and Ireland being lousy and Miami being awful lets wait a few more weeks because after they Beat the Jets things will be looking even better.
