I have to admit, I turned in last night around Midnight so 4:30AM rolled around quickly and I wasn't feeling it. However that all changed when found myself surrounded with 50-60 painted up crazy ass fans.
There are times when I've been put down or frowned upon because some of my crazy antics or the way I dress on game days. I am not alone. Die hard fans are everywhere, and all teams have them. And, I can tell there isn't a better bunch fans,....friendly and good sportsmanship abound.
Even the Bills fans I've met where super cool,.....
( misfire,.....what am I looking at ???)
While I was just taking a pic of the flag, Ralph just happened to make it in as he was filming while pointing at the flag.
Her cane is there in the background, and she didn't look well while standing. After reading her sign I immediately thought of the Jimmy V speech.
"Cancer can take away all my physical abilities. It cannot touch my mind, it cannot touch my heart and it cannot touch my soul. And those three things are going to carry on forever."

( that kid's smile says it all )
While in there I bumped into to former Dolphin QB,............Trent Green !!???
Now,...I found the Guinness "Boldest fan in the Game" display. There was no mention of me or of the other winners. It was just a case with some old costumes of a few other fans. Oh well,...
So we left the HOF and headed out on to the grounds to soak in the sights. I knew they where having autograph sessions and for a fee you could get something signed by several HOF greats. Now I looked at that list 3 or 4 times, and the only Dolphin that was on the list was Larry Little. Well, I've met him several times and wasn't about to pay to do it again. We were about to leave when we rolled up on Mounted Memories display. They had some "big name" players on their list. And,....when I saw Marino was on that list,....I could get my CC out of my pocket quick enough !!! I'm not really into to paying for these things, but I called this a once in a lifetime opportunity and I had to do it ( and,....he commanded the largest fee of the bunch ). I mean really,....I had the face paint on, wearing my DCC jersey, and had M.M. in tow,...........NO BRAINER !!!!!!!! And best believe I had my Marino HOF specific mini helmet,.....SCORE !
I got about 90 seconds of face time with our hero. There I told him about how M.M. was strapped to my bike for the DCC and how those efforts got my own HOF bust. He was totally cool with me,....
If you liked this post,....please consider donating to my efforts in the DCC,......anything helps !
