NFLPA Rejects Rule Changes to IR and Trade Deadline

At this point, it just seems like neither side wants to agree to much of anything with the other. The relationship between the NFL and NFLPA is that bad. [Editor's Note: Apparently, the way the IR and Trade Deadline was pushed to the NFLPA was as a package, including a change to padded practices in some way. The coaches did not like the proposed changes to practices, and the NFLPA listened to the coaches, as well as did not want to change the practice plan they had just agreed upon in the CBA, thus the delay in getting a vote done. From the way I understood it, the NFLPA had to either accept all the changes, or reject all the changes. There was no way to split them up.]
