Miami Dolphins Depth Chart - Preseason Game 3 (Offense)

Stay connected for news and updates

The Miami Dolphins have updated their depth chart this week, ahead of Friday's game when they host the Atlanta Falcons. As was seen last week, the depth chart is an extremely fluid document, and is only a snap shot in time.

Reall, they only major change is the one we have been discussing for the last two days - Ryan Tannehill listed as the number one quarterback.

The offensive depth chart is below. Check for the defense later today.

Position 1 2 3 4 5 6
QB Ryan Tannehill Matt Moore Pat Devlin David Garrard *
RB Reggie Bush Daniel Thomas Steve Slaton Lamar Miller Marcus Thigpen Jonas Gray
WR1 Legedu Naanee Julius Pruitt Jeff Fuller Rishard Matthews
WR2 Davone Bess Marlon Moore Roberto Wallace Brian Hartline*
B.J. Cunningham Chris Hogan Clyde Gates
LT Jake Long Lydon Murtha Ray Feinga Will Yeatman
LG Richie Incognito Eric Steinbach * Chandler Burden
C Mike Pouncey Josh Samuda Ryan Cook
RG Artis Hicks Nate Garner John Jerry
RT Jonathan Martin Andrew McDonald Will Barker
TE Anthony Fasano Charles Clay Jeron Mastrud Michael Egnew Les Brown
FB Jorvorskie Lane Jerome Messam

Bold - starters; Italics - rookies; * - Did not dress last week

Quick Reactions:

  • Quarterbacks - Really, the swap of Tannehill and Moore was the only major change to the entire chart.
  • Left Guard - Can't be a good sign for Burden tha the Dolphins left him behind Steinbach, despite Steingback not playing last week.
  • Fullbacks - Jerome Messam moves up to second team after the release of Ryan Mahaffey

What are your reactions to the offensive depth chart? Anything really surprise you? Anyone you thought would be higher?

And, again, this is still just the preseason, and really only gives us a snapshot in time of what the final depth chart could look like. But's it's enough to get us talking, right?
