Miami Dolphins waive FB Ryan Mahaffey. Mahaffey played college ball at Nothern Iowa, and spent his first season last year as a member of the Colts. This opens up the lone FB position to Jorvorskie Lane. The Dolphins could convert Jerome Messam to FB from RB, but it is unlikely. The road to the final 53 is that much closer, look for this to be the first of many more cuts to come in the upcoming days.
