A long time ago, back when Sparano was head coach, my father and I were watching a Dolphins' game. At one point in the game, my father suddenly said, "What the bleep is that? Get his bleep off the field!" I asked him what in the world was he talking about and he showed it to me during a replay. One of the LBs didn't even TRY to make the tackle and that led to a huge gain by the opponent. I don't remember if the Dolphins lost or won that game, but this occurance came back to me when I was watching the 2012 Dolphins 2nd preseason game vs the Panthers. At one play, the Panthers ran the ball and Koa Misi or a certain LB was in position to make the tackle. Guess what? He didn't. He just swiped at him like he didn't WANT to make the tackle. Now, maybe I misjudged it. Maybe he thought since I'm being blocked and I can only reach out, why try? I don't know football like my father. However, that lack of effort is not the only showing in the game. I saw questionable character with Vontae Davis. The first time Davis and Smith got into it, maybe it was just me, but Davis seemed to be the aggressor. I'm not saying Smith is a saint, but it appeared that Davis took the shoving to another level. Of course, it cost us 15 yards. So later on, Davis and Smith get to fighting, and in the replay, Davis is actually trying to take off Smith's helmet and it also appeared Davis was the aggressor once again. Now I know you only see so much on tv, but if Davis wasn't being questionable, then why did Philibin take him out? I don't think Ireland's drafting is a problem at all, he does a good job. He hit on Jake Long and Langford, he hit on Sean Smith, Brian Hartline, and even Vontae Davis, he also hit on Odrick and Carrol. Don't forget they found Davone Bess out of Hawaii. So please don't jump down Ireland's throat. Coaching is a bit questionable, but now that we have possibly better coachs, I think the players could be a problem. Don't forget that Dansby spoke out instead of sticking with the organization when Johnson was cut. By the way, how do I add spaces in my fan posts?
