Hey everyone,

I've been a Fins fan since I first started watching football as a young boy (mid-1980s). Growing up in New England, that was never easy. Now, living in NYC, it's still not easy. Well, it's not difficult either. People are just confused. The Fins haven't been very good (or relevant) in years, and no matter how hard I try to convince people that Jay Fiedler was a good QB, it's tough. I want to love this team again. Right now, I'm a bit apathetic. I always check the scores and watch when they're on TV, but no part of me truly views them as a Super Bowl-capable team. They haven't been a true Super Bowl contender in nearly fifteen years.

I've been following the off-season, but I haven't been as thorough as in years past. For instance, I didn't know the Fins signed Chad Johnson until I saw that he was cut. That may say more about Chad Johnson as a player than me as a fan. I love the Philbin signing. I think he'll be good for this organization. I need to see his in-game management before declaring him the best coach since Shula, but I like his personnel decisions and his work during training camp. I love the Tannehill pick and I believe that with the right system and teammates he can be a very good to lower-elite QB in this league. I like the youth on this squad. The unknown WRs excite me and I like how the team is building its O-Line through the draft. Tannehill is young, and if he's the guy, then it will be nice to see him grow with this O-Line. The defense needs to be more consistent, but I like them too. They can keep this team in games if the offense can put up points.

Finally, I like their schedule this year. They play the NFC West and AFC South this season - two relatively weak conferences. Though they match up against the Patriots, Texans, and 49ers, it's a huge break playing the likes of the Cardinals, Titans, and Colts.

Anywho, I'm interested in the opinions of you all, who I consider to be more thorough and well-versed, and somewhat more passionate, fans than I.

Where do you REALISTICALLY see the Fins finishing this season? Please be realistic. Don't be completely blinded by your love for the Aqua and Orange.
