Miami Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore moved into the number one slot on the depth chart this week.
The Miami Dolphins have updated their depth chart this week, ahead of Friday's game against the Carolina Panthers. As was seen last week, the depth chart is an extremely fluid document, and is only a snap shot in time.
Last week, the offense did not have any real surprises on it, and this week seems to be the same thing. The only major changes seem to be the moving of player who did not dress for last week's game are all now listed as the last player in their respective position.
The offensive depth chart is below. Check for the defense later today.
Bold - starters; Italics - rookies; * - Did not dress last week
Quick Reactions:
- Wide Receiver was really the only position that saw any sort of shakeup, and even that was just because the team released Chad Johnson. With that move, the Dolphins essentially removed the slot/WR3 starting position, moved Davone Bess into the number two starter slot and kept everyone else the same.
- Quarterbacks - Even with the injury to David Garrard, there wasn't much change at the position. Garrard moved, along with everyone who did not dress last week, to the end of the depth chart. Then, the other three Dolphins just moved up one position.
What are your reactions to the offensive depth chart? Anything really surprise you? Anyone you thought would be higher?
And, again, this is still just the preseason, and really only gives us a snapshot in time of what the final depth chart could look like. But's it's enough to get us talking, right?
