Chad Johnson was a pro bowl wide receiver that never really got in trouble. Sure he had a big mouth and was always a class clown but when he got on the field he produced. As Chad Johnson said he took care of his business for 10 years. He was a South Florida native and grew up a Dolphins fan and as reported he still had that quickness and ability that made him a pro bowler. If anyone thinks that signing him was mistake they were fooling themselves.

But what makes this a great signing is what happened this weekend. Philbin, which is a small quiet guy that I feared might end up like Cam Cameron because he's a football intellectual took decisive action and cut him without hesitation. In my opinion he sent a clear message to the team that he is in charge and this is his team.
