So last week I asked who you, the Phinsider reader, believed would be the opening day starter. The results were that David Garrard edged out Ryan Tannehill with 213 votes (42%) to 185 votes (37%). Matt Moore and Pat Devlin were in third and forth place respectfully with Moore receiving 80 votes (16%) and Devlin receiving 15 votes (3 %). I was also glad to see that 7 of you voted for the option where you admitted that you were in fact a troll. Thank you for your honesty!
This weeks poll is along the same lines but based more on the current information at hand. We now know that Garrard is out for at least the rest of camp and the pre-season. We also have had one pre-season game to see the other three QB's play at game speed. I think most of us feel that Ryan looked the strongest in the game. I suppose the arguments against him at this point are that it was only about half of one game and not much of a sample size and of course the fact that much of it was against 2nd and 3rd stringers.
So have you seen enough for Ryan at this point for him to be named the starter?
Also please vote in our poll after the jump.
Poll
Based on what you have seen thus far is Ryan Tannehill ready to take over as the starting QB for the Dolphins?
Yes I am sold. Name him the starter now. (153 votes)
I was impressed but slow down tiger. Need to see more. (298 votes)
No way. Still not sold on this kid at all. (5 votes)
Still think the slot is Garrards to lose but might see Ryan named the starter later in the year. (28 votes)
Still think the slot is Moore's to lose but might see Ryan named the starter later in the year. (28 votes)
I still don't care as I am still just here trolling. (8 votes)
