Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has high praise for Miami Dolphins rookie defensive end Olivier Vernon. Vernon, who is looking to provide the Dolphins with a second pass rusher behind Cameron Wake, has the size and power to be effective in the NFL, but has some speed concerns. His highest college total in sacks with 6.5 in 2010.

Vernon was the first of two picks by the Dolphins from the University of Miami. The team also selected Hurricanes running back Lamar Miller in the fourth round of the draft.
