Various media outlets today are reporting that former San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins, and New England Patriots Junior Seau has been found dead by police in his home in Oceanside, California. According to the reports, a gun was found at the scene, and witnesses from the area reported hearing a single gunshot from inside the home.
According to the reports, a large police presence responded to the Seau home at approximately 10am PDT, where they shut down the road and the area around his home. Witnesses from the scene report that police have said it's a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A housekeeper found Junior Seau, dead in his home, from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. He was 43 and is survived by his ex-wife and 3 children.
