On my other post someone said something that intruiged me.... He said "Maybe if we trade with the Eagles Ryan Tannehill will still be there". This is pretty unlikely, but if it were to happen, then our draft could end up amazing. The seahawks invested alot of money in Flynn, same with the Cards and Kolb, and KC has alot of other needs to fill. This will center off the idea that Ryan Tannehill is there at 15 and we get a 2nd and a 5th for the trade down.
Round 1 (15): Ryan Tannehill- still a reach? well I dont think so.
Round 2a: Trade- the dolphins trade their 2nd, 3rd, and 5th for the Steelers first round pick.
Round 1b: Kendal Wright- We signed Nannee, but we still need a potential #1 WR to stretch to field, someone who is explosive Wright will fit in greatly, the next need to fill is DE.
Round 2: Vinny Curry/ Chandler Jones/ Andre Branch- either of these guys will fit in nicely. Maybe a possibility to trade into the first again and get Perry, but I doubt Ireland could pull that off.
Round 3: Best OT/ OG available- OL is not exactly of a need, but more of a want at this point, Zebrie Sanders could go here, but maybe Massie falls.
Round 4: Best CB/ Safety available- Our secondary is pretty solid right now, but you can never have too many DB's. Maybe Brandon Boykin or Trumaine Johnson falls.
Round 5: Jeff Fuller/ Danny Coale- I like both these guys for different reasons. Fuller for Tannehill and measurable, and Coale for his sleeper ability.
Round 6&7- BPA
Now if Tannehill isn't there then there is another draft that could make us alot better in 2012, but maybe not for the long haul, lets just see how *blank* does.
Round 1 (15): Michael Floyd- He has great measurable, and is not a reach at all at 15, if Tannehill is gone by 15, then Floyd should be there.
Round 2a: Trade- Same trade
Round 1b: Nick Perry- IMO he is the least controversial DE in the draft and alot of people think he will explode int the field in the NFL.
Round 2: Bobby Massie- I like getting an athletic T in the 2nd round.
Round 3: Ryan Lindley: our new QB of the future isn't actually very different from Ryan Tannehill, a little less accurate and athletic, bur has more experience and terrible blocking and receiving in college.
Round 4: Chris Watt- a good guard prospect, may end up getting some playing time at RG.
Round 5: Danny Coale- since we didn't get Tannehill, there is not really a point in drafting Jeff Fuller, but I feel Coale is highly underrated, and Welkerish.
Round 6&7- BPA
Let me know what you guys think of these drafts, I would love the first one, and would really like the 2nd one. Please dont tell me that it probably won't happen, cuae that's why I put the alternate draft. GO FINS!
