Strange Report via ESPN
"ESPN's Adam Schefter has some bad news for Miami Dolphins fans, which might be good news for the New York Jets and several other teams. Schefter reports Miami may be losing ground already in the Peyton Manning sweepstakes. Schefter sites the recent helicopter chase and the way the Dolphins failed at pursuing head coach Jeff Fisher as ominous signs. The Dolphins expect to meet with Manning soon so the future Hall of Fame quarterback can get a feel for the organization. Miami was considered one of the early favorites to land Manning." The chase for Jeff Fisher ended on January 14, 2012. How is Miami just now losing ground over something that happened two months ago? It would be one thing if Peyton Manning was a free agent when the Rams hired Fisher. Maybe Cecil Collins being arrested in 1999 is really the reason Ricky Williams retired in 2004...
