Now, you may wonder why I added this to a Miami Dolphins blog. It's not even tied to the same sport, right? Well, there is a Miami Dolphins tie to the $2.15 billion sale of the Los Angeles Dodgers to the Guggenheim Partners and Magic Johnson. The record sale of the team surpassed the previous record for a sports franchise sale. That previous record? The sale of the Miami Dolphins to Stephen Ross for $1.1 billion.
So, see...there was a tie to the Dolphins in there.
