NFL Announces Kick Off Game - Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants

The NFL has just announced the league's Kick Off game, to be held on Setpember 5. The tradition of the reigning Super Bowl Champions hosting the game will continue, as the New York Giants welcome the Dallas Cowboys to MetLife Stadium.

Kickoff will be scheduled for 8:30pm EDT.

GIANTS & COWBOYS KICK OFF SEASON ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5

The Super Bowl champion New York Giants will host the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium in the 2012 season-opening NFL Kickoff game on Wednesday, September 5 (NBC, 8:30 PM ET), the NFL announced today.

NBC will televise the game at 8:30 PM ET and NFL Kickoff 2012 at 7:30 PM ET.

Continuing a tradition that started in 2004, the previous year's Super Bowl winner hosts the NFL Kickoff game to open the following season.
