I'm sure most of you have already seen this video. But with Matt Flynn favored to be a Dolphin - Thought that it may be able to create some discussion.
A few things I noticed was how mobile he is. Uses his feet to avoid defenders and create yards out of the pocket. Appears comfortable in the pocket and in control of the offense. Doesn't look frazzled when scrambling and keeps his eyes down field. Not blown away by his decision making - but you can also argue that it was his first start in the NFL. Throws for 3 TDs and 1 pick. It was nice to seem some footage of him that didn't come from the Lions game that we all know of. I think a lot of the plays he made in that game were due to an extreme lack in defensive production on the Lions side of the ball. However- doesn't necessarily mean it was a fluke. Especially with the tape of this game.
How do you feel about Flynn as our new "Franchise QB"?
