Around SBN: Win or Lose, Boston Celtics' New Big 3 Era A Success

Not exactly Dolphin related now, but it is keeping tabs on former personnel. According to NFL.com, the Kansas City Chiefs are interested in Brian Daboll as Offensive Coordinator. It's a good move for him, especially if they keep Bowe on board. They have some good weapons.

In other news, the NFL Network will air 13 games next season. Their current broadcast schedule included 8 games, but the NFL Network will air games from Week 2 to Week 15.

confession;

i was a little critical of the daboll hire by miami – but it turned out that i liked him okay. i mean he did end up being a major upgrade over henning imo.

never did figure out why they kept running bush between the tackles so much though? was it just to prove he could do it? I mean the guy is obviously made for playing in space.

i wasn;t sure about Reggie and thought Sproles could be at least as good. Well i am more than fine with how bush played – although Sproles took it to another level too – i just think NO knows how to use personell.

This would be a great hire for KC

Daboll figured out how to use Reggie as an every-down back after only a few games of working out the kinks. Reggie’s season was basically 12 games or so, accounting for the adjustment period (lockout forced the adjustment to happen primarily in-season), and he still rushed for 1,000+ on an O-line sporting Marc Colombo. Daboll dialed up a lot of beautiful plays this season, and it would have shown more if we had an upgraded quarterback to execute them. I’m sad to see him go, though I agree it is necessary for Philbin to take things in his own direction. Best wishes for Daboll

Good noticve for Daboll

He has bad timing to arrive to Miami, but this guy will be in the headlines in the years to come, and only can say good byt Daboll, and hope the have good success in KC.
