Matt Flynn Endorsement from Packers Players.
These interviews are comforting if Matt falls in Miami. They're not saying, 'Matt Flynn did very well out there tonight, but we also know Aaron Rodgers is a great quarterback.' None of that. Instead it went along the lines of 'Aaron Rodgers has to make sure he's on his game because Matt Flynn is biting at his heels.'
The more and more I do my research on Flynn, the more and more I like him. If those players were thinking that inside the dressing room, what does Philbin think?
I thought it was a good insight.

lmao u know theyre joking right?
"I think we can all agree the best thing about this years Superbowl is the Jets aren't in it. The Jets are a lot like the Yankees...everyone hates them. Only they don't have good players, a winning tradition or a coach who doesn't beat off everytime a player gets their ankle taped." - Daniel Tosh

Rodgers was joking...
The other players weren’t.

As in, I know what they were saying about Flynn taking over Rodgers was a joke.
But I find it interesting to see what they said about Flynn.

Right now, every word in Flynn is spoken in jest.
You ain’t gonna get a concrete analysis of Flynn’s ability or his intentions until after he’s signed somewhere.
In the meantime, this is all we got…words spoken in jest.

Flynn meybe don't become Brady 2.0
But I see in him an under radar franchise QB like some others was in other times… and he have the time to develop behind a really grate Franchise QB, no he has the opportunity to have his shot in other team, but with the same coach how develop him.
I really want to see this guy in Miami, and believe if Philbin have truly faith in him, before he leave from packers was already talked with Flynn and get some king of arrangement to be together in the team who get Philbin.
At first I brushed Flynn off as another Feeley....
But some folks have pointed out his progression to this point, and I’m starting to come around. A lot of young QBs in the NFL right now would have had to take a back seat to Jamarcus Russell in college had they been at the same school as him. In college, the player’s physical attributes tend to trump work ethic. Also, the game is much simpler than in the pros. So a guy like Flynn who isn’t 6’6", 275 lbs, will have to survive long enough in the NFL to let his work ethic and intelligence pay off. It doesn’t mean he isn’t capable…..
Also, Green Bay has a pretty damn good model at developing QBs. Rodgers sat on the bench for quite a while before he emerged as the badass he is today. Seems to me Flynn is following in his footsteps. And the fact that he beat out a 2nd round pick (Brohm, right?) in camp tells me he far more talented than his draft position would suggest.
More and more I’m thinking the Eagles have a great system that makes mediocre QBs look great. Green Bay actually develops great QBs. So I’m going to stop worrying that Flynn is Feeley or Kolb.
Bienvenidos a Miami Coach Philbin!
kolb is another feeley
but flynn reminds me more of matt hasselbeck (who sat behind favre).
RGIII or flynn, whichever one helps us win

He does look the part.
He’s so confident too. And had the respect of his teammates. Henne never had that.
And Hasslebeck
went right to a west coast system in Seattle (run by his former coach) and did very well. It’s almost the same situation, since Holmgren knew EXACTLY what kind of QB he was (just like Philbin will know) there really wasn’t much of a gamble.
