Dolphins employees have been thoroughly impressed by new coach Joe Philbin, saying he’s more friendly and approachable than Tony Sparano. Philbin, in a classy move, already has reached out to Don Shula… There’s curiousity internally in seeing how the new staff deals with Brandon Marshall. Some players thought the former staff looked the other way when he did foolish things (like spiking a ball off Vontae Davis’ face)….

With regards to Marshall spiking the ball off of Vontae Davis' face...
I’ll be the first to admit that it’s not the most, um, conventional way to tell someone to grow up.
But after the incident, Vontae Davis put together a string of very solid performances over the following weeks and really shaped up. There weren’t any more reports of Davis going out drinking the night before practice. And Davis’ hamstring and conditioning issues disappeared. It’s almost like he began behaving like a professional athlete…
Teams need guys who hold other guys accountable. I appreciated Marshall stepping up.
I am sure it had much more to do with Tony benching him for a game!

Of course he would
Why wouldn’t Sherman stand behind his guy? I don’t think anything different about the possibility of drafting Tannehill.
If we were still going to run the Wildcat, Id be all over Tannehill in the first.
Gut instinct however tells me that hes not worth the number 9, and theres really only two teams id worry about thinking otherwise. Buffalo and the Jets. I could actually see Rex using a first rounder on this guy.
But to me, thats the only reason I would nab him. TBH, I would rather wait two years to draft a first round QB, and pick up Jordan Rodgers from Vandy. Sign Flynn to a three year deal and let them battle it out in Rodgers first season.

one of the saddest lists you'll ever see
From the CBS article it links to http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/mia/ and talks about how bad the Dolphins quarterbacks have been since Marino. One of the statistically interesting aspect of the list is the best Dolphins team were in the top 3 defensively.
I think the team should be looking to add a great Safety and pass rushers and Moore would be a threat at QB. The Ravens are the poster child for defense keeps them in the hunt every year, or the Texans with the same offense with a 3rd string QB makes the playoffs, and the Giants defense keeps them in the game.
I think Flynn might be Kolb 2.0 and not worth the risk.
