2012 NFL Free Agents: Running Backs
The 2012 NFL Free Agency period begins in 24 days. Today we continue our look at players expected to become free agents on March 13. This list, as with the free agent quarterbacks list before it, does not project players that could get the franchise tag (Ray Rice), nor does it anticipate players who could be released by the team. This is simply a list of players with expiring contracts.
Today's list takes a look at the free agent running backs

Mr. Dance a lot in the backfield
thank you, but I’ll pass
Ronnie won't cut it as a starter, but we would have a great three headed monster at RB with bush, Thomas and ronnie
Add Jerome messam and we would have great depth as well.
RGIII or flynn, whichever one helps us win

Justin Forsett is a very powerful back and very good blocker.
With Lynch & Washington ahead of him he never got a chance to really get into a groove.
Ryan Grant and Mike Tolbert I would sign sign asap.
Mike is a good back powerul, strong, hits the hole, and has good blocking skills.
Ryan Grant is a year off of his injuries and is durable. However, he knows Philbin’s system very well. He’s more like an insurance policy of Bush goes down. Overall I like the combo of;
1st down HB- Bush
2nd- Grant
And 3rd Thomas.
Feed the wolf or is the wolf feeding on us?
Get well soon Chads.
B. Marsh needs more TD's.

Two words
Kevin Smith..
We can use the depth for injuries….
I would love to plug Smith at #2 on a short deal… especially with Thomas’s injury concerns and if Reggie continues to take hits..
He should be cheap, i wouldn’t want to spend any more money at the RB then we have to…
I'm ALL- IN. Do whatever it takes to get Andrew Luck or RGIII to Miami in 2012.
Laces out!
-2008 AFC East Champions-
BRANDON MARSHALL- FUTURE MIAMI HOF WR!!!!!
Tom Brandstater- more TD's than completions. Last person to tell him that's not possible, well, nobody has seen him since.
Lol, the sad thing is, all RB's mentioned are injury prone.
Just sayin’…

I Think we're set at RB
Bush…Thomas…and Messam…If I had to spend some extra cash, it wouldn’t be on a RB in Free Agency…unless they come real cheap.

Have you seen messam play?
Just cause Messam signed with the phins, doesn’t make him a starter.

Messam is in the #3 spot
that is not considered “starter”. Are line up at RB isn’t going to change. we need line, LB, and qb. And maybe a safety. not to mention we will be paying a lot for any good FA to boot. We only have so much cap room to fit these guys unless we restructure current contracts from lets say, marshall, dansby, bush, and/or long.
Have seen a game or two...
He looked solid…don’t usually watch CFL, even though it’s quite popular up here. Still, he was 3rd on my list…so I didn’t necessarily have him starting, but, in my mind, could be brought in depending on the situation, or formation.
