US PRESSWIRE
Every week, the Phinsider awards a game ball to the top individual performance from the Miami Dolphins most recent contest. This week, we take a look at the top players from the Dolphins' loss to the New England Patriots.
The Miami Dolphins lost to the New England Patriots last Sunday 23-16. However, there were several players who are worthy of individual recognition from the game.
The Phinsider Game Ball is a community decision. Each week, I nominate up to five players who could win the award. Then, the Phinsider community votes to award the ball to one player.
This week's nominees are:
- Brian Hartline, Wide Receiver: 5 receptions, 84 yards
- Ryan Tannehill, Quarterback: 13-for-29, 186 yards, 5 rushes, 19 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 fumble lost
- Reshad Jones, Safety: 10 tackles (all solo), 1 sack, 1 tackle for loss, 1 quarterback hit, 1 interception, 30 return yards
- Brandon Fields, Punter: 5 kicks, 51.8 yards per kick average, 1 touchback, 2 kicks inside 20, long 60 yards
The decision on who receives the award is up to you. Vote in the poll below, and feel free to discuss why you selected that player in the comments. We will announce the winner on the site tomorrow.
