The Miami Dolphins gave up an early touchdown to the New England Patriots, finding themselves down 7-0 at the end of the first quarter. Join us here to discuss all the second quarter action.

The Miami Dolphins find themselves in a 7-0 hole after the first quarter against the New England Patriots. The Dolphins have struggled early on offense today, currently averaging less than three yards per play.

The New England touchdown came on a seven yard pass from Tom Brady to Wes Welker. The Dolphins had turned the ball over just before the touchdown, with rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill throwing his first interception in 140 passes. That streak had been the NFL's active leader.

Tannehill has already been sacked twice today, and is consistently under pressure every time he drops back to pass.

The Dolphins have already had to punt twice, with Brandon Fields averaging 47 yards per kick.

The Patriots have the ball on the Miami 28 to start the second period.
