The Miami Dolphins beat the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, splitting the 2012 season series between the AFC East division rivals. The game featured several strong individual performances, worthy of our Phinsider Week 16 Game Ball. Now it's up to our community to decide which Miami player deserves recognition as the top individual performer of the week.
The Miami Dolphins held up their end of the slim playoff chances they had by beating their AFC East divisional rivals, the Buffalo Bills, 24-10 on Sunday. Despite being eliminated from the playoffs with the Cincinnati Bengals' win, the Dolphins played a great game against the Bills, with several players being worthy of the Phinsider's Week 16 game ball.
Here on the Phinsider, we still take a look at the top individual performances for the Dolphins, win or lose. And, in this win, there were several players that were worthy of recognition.
The Phinsider Game Ball is a community decision. Each week, I nominate up to five players who could win the award. Then, the Phinsider community votes to award the ball to one player.
This week's nominees are:
- Ryan Tannehill, Quarterback: 13-for-25, 130 yards, 2 touchdowns, 93.8 passer rating, 6 carries, 44 yards
- Reggie Bush, Running back: 19 carries, 65 yards, 1 touchdown, 4 receptions, 42 yards, 2 touchdowns
- Lamar Miller, Running back: 10 carries, 73 yards
- Reshad Jones, Safety: 2 tackles, 1 pass defensed, 1 QB hit, 1 interception, 2 fumbles recovered
