Robert Mayer-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars have come south this week to take on the Miami Dolphins. After the first quarter, the two teams have traded field goals.

The Miami Dolphins are hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars this afternoon. After one period, the game is tied at three after traded first possession field goals.

The first quarter for the Dolphins featured a 53-yard field goal from Dan Carpenter, and a defense that has already sacked Chad Henne twice (Jared Odrick, Kevin Burnett).

Of course, the story coming into the game was the return of Henne to Sun Life Stadium, where he is 0-10 in his last 10 starts. Henne, who was drafted in the second round of the 2008 draft by the Dolphins, joined the Jaguars this offseason to back up second year quarterback Blaine Gabbert, who has been placed on injured reserve.

The Dolphins have seen some injuries creeping up today, including Sean Smith, who was limping around the field early in the quarter, while Chris Clemons has had to leave the game, with Jimmy Wilson replacing him at safety. Burnett left the game with 30 seconds left in the quarter, but walked off under his own power, so he may be able to return.
