The Seattle Seahawks are in Miami to face the Dolphins today. With the first quarter in the books, there is no score as both defenses have shown up to play.

The Miami Dolphins are engaged in a defensive battle with the Seattle Seahawks through one quarter of the teams' Week 12 contest. Neither offense has gotten into a rhythm yet today, with the score tied at zero through one period.

The Dolphins have 61 yards on the day, with three first downs. Meanwhile, the Seahawks have yet to move the chains on four possessions, going three and out every time they have had the ball. Seattle has 27 total yards on the day, with a Robert Turbin rush counting for nearly half of those yards.

Miami defensive tackle Paul Soliai has been the player of the game through one quarter. He has simply dominated the center of the line, and is routinely shoving players five yards into the backfield. His efforts have led to Marshawn Lynch, who came in to the game already over 1,000 yards on the season, having four carries for minus one yard on the day.

The Dolphins are punting the ball away to start the second period.
