Yesterday, we took a look at the Miami Dolphins' offensive snap counts from their Thursday night game against the Buffalo Bills. Today, we follow that with the defensive snap counts.
For the third time in eleven days, the Miami Dolphins lost a game, this time a Thursday night game against their AFC East division rivals, the Buffalo Bills. Once again, the team looked lost out on the field, never able to get into a rhythm, and ultimately lost the game 19-14.
Yesterday, we took a look at the offensive snap counts on the Dolphins' 58 plays. Now, we turn our attention to the defensive side of the ball.
The Dolphins were on defense for 67 snaps Sunday. Here's the breakdown, by position group:

Thoughts: Nothing really special with the defensive line this week. Strange that Starks played as many snaps as he did, but as long as he is able to generate pressure, and shut down a run up the middle, I won't complain.

Thoughts: Against the Titans, the Dolphins rotated all of their available linebackers into the game, including rookie Josh Kaddu making his debut. This week, they went exactly the opposite, only playing Dansby, Burnett, and Misi, with Dansby and Burnett taking every snap.

Thoughts: Both safeties played every snap. Not a lot of surprise there.
