I'm not sure if you noticed, but the Dolphins-Colts game is not on TV in many markets this week. The Broncos-BUNGLES game is the main 1pm game on CBS. Even Bills-Texans, which is a sure blowout, will be shown in more households. I mean...the Bengals, the team that's lost 3 in a row including to the Browns? Now I still watch every game using "alternative means" ;), and I could always go to "3rd and Long" (though the train schedule is all out of whack), but it would be nice to watch on the big HDTV, and its also just the point of being snubbed for the Bengals of all teams.
Typically they would show Dolphins games on TV in New York and New England when those teams weren't playing (plus the Giants are on FOX at 4). We used to have like 6-8 Dolphins games a year on TV here in NY. I know they had losing records the past 3 years, but these things aren't decided like that. I'm not sure why CBS wouldn't choose to air the only game besides Giants/Steelers featuring two above .500 teams in more markets, especially NY and New England, which are division rivals with Miami. And you know there are many more Dolphins and Colts fans in this area than Broncos and certainly Bungles fans.
FOX originally had the 1-6 Panthers on, but they switched it to Packers-Cardinals I believe. Is there any chance CBS will do the same thing? I sent in a request with CBS since it can't hurt! http://www.cbs.com/info/user_services/fb_global_form.php
This is almost sure to be a closely contested game, between two teams who have proven to be exciting.
