It just occurred to me that Brady Quinn started for the Chiefs and lasted only a couple plays before getting injured and Matt Cassel having to come back. While that was occurring, I had a sudden thought back to the 2007 NFL draft, and wondered...

...does anybody remember back in 2007, when Brady Quinn was supposed to get drafted overall #1, but was passed up and fell to the Browns with the 22nd pick?

Anybody remember what Brady Quinn's father said when questioned by reporters about how all these different teams had spurned his son, especially the Miami Dolphins? How he was shocked that the Miami Dolphins, who "absolutely" needed a QB first (granted, Cam Cameron gave us the injustice that was the enigma of Ted Ginn, Jr.) spurned his son.

Anybody remember how he said that "The Dolphins will regret not picking my son in the 1st round of the draft." ?

... yeah, didn't really think so.
