Miami Dolphins are playoff bound

Stay connected for news and updates

In 2008 Miami Dolphins were the worst team in football with no chance of doing anything but adding W's for apposing teams. We had a rookie head coach, no QB, no WR's and the defense backfield were a bunch of no name players.

Falling into our lap was Chad Pennington... The much maligned QB from New York gave the Dolphins one season of mistake free football. He wasn't flashy, he didn't have the big arm but what he lacked physically he made up under the helmet.

Today we have Ryan Tannehill playing Chad Pennington football for the Dolphins. His last two weeks have been classic Pennington football... take what they give you and don't make any mistakes the difference is Tannehill only has 6 starts under his belt and unlike Pennington he has a cannon for an arm. He can make all the throws deep, he can hit zap it into the middle and he can drop it into the RB's arms in the flat. He is Pennington with UP SIDE!!!!

Add to that a bone crunching defensive that has kept teams struggling to score points and you have the recipe for another playoff team. What we need now is the WR's not named Bess or Hartline to step up and make plays. Moore's performance last week was a good start now he needs to take it to the next level.
