Tonight's game pits the 2-3 Denver Broncos against the 3-2 San Diego Chargers. Denver is of course led by Peyton Manning who was signed this off season after a year off to recover from a neck injury and being released by the Colts. He take's the place of ex Florida Gator Tim Tebow who was traded to the New York Jets for a box of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese and an old shoe (also their may have been a pick involved) in the off season. Denver is looking to rebound from back to back losses that saw a slew of turnover on offense against their division rival.
The Phillip River's led Chargers are also looking to rebound from a loss last week after falling to the previously winless New Orleans Saints. Coach Norv Turner hopes to use the very loud environment at Qualcomm Stadium as a 12th and possibly 13 or 14th man on the field. "Monday night I expect our fan to have a big part in it. It's part of the reason that we've had a lot of success against Manning.", said Norv. Turner added, "They,re an off the line or a no huddle team and the crowd can affect that greatly."
