Ill go with Chad Henne
My buddy even called me from prison to say “you guys are going to be bad ass on offense this year”. Unfortunately we would go 0-7.

Had our defence showed up at the begining, all "this season" may have been (undefineable) instead of almost unrecanizable!
WTFH to my team That first half of the season, 1st game the defencive players were clutching there sides that first game. I was sick, No not the first game!

Matt Moore.
He lit up the Chiefs that game.
Damn I think he just completed another TD.
Feed the wolf or is the wolf feeding on us?
Get well soon Chads.
B. Marsh needs more TD's.

Reggie Bush
I could very easily go with Moore, but Bush impressed me this year especially closing out the season. And the 200 yard game (I know 76 came on one run) was pretty damn awesome for a guy that was given no respect for being an every down player.
We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.
Bush was fun to watch when our season was over due to the 0-7 start
he had fire all season, had to prove himself to the whole league, and it showed best in that buffalo game. henne’s first game was great, but in a losing effort so its hard for me to vote that as single game performance of the year— those numbers are great, but with a loss next to it loses its impact i feel

Bien dicho
I feel the same, even tho we loss that game, i though we where in great shape to make a real push for the playoff and AFC championship game, but … Then again, well said el pre, well said.
I will see the Dolphins win a SUPER BOWL before i die(Quarter of a Century and counting)

I have to give it to Chad
He had his best game of his career that day, unfortunately Brady did just a bit better.

And Brady didn't even stop for the rest of the season.
It’s still crazy that there were 3 5000+ yards passing QB’s this year, not to mention Eli Manning was only 67 yards off the mark. There were also 6 4600+ yards passing QB’s this year but some still seem to think we can win without a top QB.

Nobody thinks that we can win with poor QB play
The questions people raise are:
1. Can Matt Moore become a top QB with a full offseason taking 1st team snaps and more time to develop chemistry with Marshall, who caught most of his TD passes from Matt Moore in the second half of the season?
2. Are any of the QBs in this draft going to become top QBs? I’m aware people are saying amazing things about Andrew Luck. I’m aware people are saying great things about RGIII. I happen to like both Luck and RGIII. However, it HAS to be stated that many, many, MANY of these “draft experts” called Jamarcus Russell a consensus #1 pick, one even calling him the next John Elway. Others said you can’t go wrong when choosing between Ryan Leaf and Peyton Manning – or even that Ryan Leaf was better than Manning. Vince Young was THE best college QB I’ve ever seen play in my lifetime. He’s also a draft bust, so college success does not always equal NFL success.
3. Lastly, even if you think a QB in this draft will become a top QB, or if you think Matt Flynn will become a top QB, how much are you willing to give up for them?
Nobody says if our QB stinks or only throws for like 2800 yards that we’ll win the Super Bowl. The questions people are asking are what I wrote above.
Martin! thats a gamble that we NEED to take in order to go up.
You will never knopw what will happen until you take the dive. You might score a 10 or just make a splash and burn your back(lol) but you have to take the chanse.
I will see the Dolphins win a SUPER BOWL before i die(Quarter of a Century and counting)
-_-
but why gamble when u can wait and get the player you want? miami isnt stuck in the same position as the chargers and colts, we are top 10, not top 5..weve been giving up so many picks the past few years and they really have nothing to show on a winning stand point, i say go with matt moore, get a solid RT this draft and maybe if matt moore fails, hey, theres next year, im in no rush, i dont plan on giving up on miami, but im more mad when they make stupid draft picks..like ginn or allen smh..but they are atleast no putting all there money into a over rated QB until the time comes
IM HUNGRY, FEED THE WOLF
Yup.
I don’t believe you pick a QB in the Top 5 who is not ready to start from Day 1. I don’t see RGIII starting from Day 1. If we got Luck, that’d be different, but everybody is focused on RG3. If you are going to get a project QB, why the hell get them in the first round?
Stick with Matt Moore. Accumulate draft picks for next year. Next years QB class is just as deep as this years now, maybe more so. If Moore doesn’t work out, then move up and draft a stud in 2013 using the picks we’ve accumulated this year.
More of Moore in 2012!
Coples for our new 4-3!

rg3 is not a development player
the ryans, staffords and newtons have seriously changed perception… a rookie qb starting from week 7 is not a development player..

Chad
I am not a big Henne fan but the stats don’t lie. That was hands down the most impresive game of any player on the poll. It does make me wonder what he might have developed into if we had Daboll his whole career instead of Henning.
I relly want Chad return next year
more if can’t draft RGIII, and with a full offseason under Daboll’s coaching, the result could be grate.
The Jet game was most satisfying!

The stats from the Patriots game are telling
Chad Henne had all the physical tools you need to be a successful NFL QB.
I think his arm is better than Brady’s, and he’s got good height. This year, he demonstrated good mobility too – not Michael Vick-type mobility but more than most thought.
The physical tools are there. However, I watched every single Dolphins game he played in. He had a fabulous game against the Jets, and a fabulous game against the Patriots in which he beat the Pats by throwing over 40 times.
I really think Henning ruined him by trying to make him fit a run first, run second, short-pass third offense. That’s one of the reasons why Sparano had to go. He chose Henne to be his starter then failed to develop a guy with potential.
To be clear
I was talking about the first Jets game and second Pats game of his first year starting after Pennington went down. Those games gave me hope.
His arm is better than Brady's?
I think I’d rather have Brady’s left arm over Henne’s interception machine.
Lol true

Yes,
those stats are very telling. 400+ yards and 3 total touchdowns. Henne couldn’t get it done in the red zone because he lacked touch on his passes.
More of Moore in 2012!

Wow, alot of big playmakers this year... SO different from last year
Although VERY tough, I gotta give it to our offensive MVP Reggie Bush who finished with 2nd most yards in MIA history on a WINNING effort.
Matt Moore’s flawless game AT Kansas City is a close second.
I'm ALL- IN. Do whatever it takes to get Andrew Luck or RGIII to Miami in 2012.

I was going to go with Chad Henne Week 1
Until I read the Reggie Bush entry and remembered that game. Had to give my vote there.

Aaand I voted for fields
That performance was historically good. The rest were good in the context of this season and those particular players, but Fields was great on a league-wide scale. That performance has to rank on the all-time list for single-game punting average. I’ll vote for greatness over Henne being the 2nd best QB in that game or Bush breaking 200

have to give it henne
guy was under fire through most off the locked out offseason and during practices. He had to hear the boos of fans at practice facilities and the chants of we want orton. He put all that behind him and went toe-to-toe with one of the league’s best in brady. Coming out week 1 and throwing for 400 yards threw everybody off board. It was a close one between him and Bush’s 200 yarder.
Henne
Played a great game. Defense layed down at the end. Henne was off to a good start. Sucks everyone has written him off. He could be good next year, I guess the Jets will find out.
