Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum conceded in a radio interview Wednesday that Mark Sanchez's "rate of growth isn't where it needs to be." Sanchez is taking steps back, so this is pretty clear. "I know we have right person," Tannnenbaum still insisted. "I know he’s made for this (New York) market. He plays better in big games. He’s the right guy." It sounds like the Jets' front office will throw its support behind Sanchez for one more season. Tannenbaum says his club will not be in pursuit of Peyton Manning.
