Have we become crazy? why have i been reading everywhere that Marshall was the reason for the bad QB play, and that if he were to have caught some of those dropped TD passes Moore would be the starter next year, and that we should trade him now. If Marshall was not on our team we would have a really bad offense. He demands double teams and there is a reason he is in the pro bowl and not any of our QBs. Im not saying that Moore played horrible but he didn't play great, and we need to upgrade the QB position, no doubt.
Also Marshall was crediting the QBs in the pro bowl for making him look good. and anyway if he was saying that he wants a new QB, why isn't he entitled to an opinion? Don't forget he is arguably our best player and my brother who is a bears fan would LOVE to have Marshall. You don't know what you have until you lose it.

I agree with this Marsh is a huge part of our offense and like I said in past comments he is just saying what most dolphins fans have been saying the past two years
asides from that dropped balls are on you not the qb you have to make that catch like I stated before some of the best in the game had great seasons or careers with average joes at qb.
Asides from that my point is if you are a so-called elite wr you have to make those catches but sh@t happens but I also think and agree that he is saying that a great qb and a great wr compliment each other and make each other better nothing wrong with that

You do realize
that he’s the first Dolphin reciever to put up back to back 1,000 yard seasons since 93-94 right? He’s an elite receiver regardless of the dropped TD’s this year. He is the Dolphins best player and has a major impact on the offense.
What ever happened to throwing a catchable ball?
Have we forgot about the days of Marino already? As long as the QB can get it somewhere near the WRs hands we are putting it all on the WR every play?
We had [Brady] down… but we didn’t kick him. We helped him up and gave him a PowerPuff Girls band-aid for his knee. What exactly did you expect would happen when we did that?

Stop making the argument of throwing a catchable ball!!
He DROPPED the ball which means it was on his hands!
He also has led the league in drops since he has entered it and he jay cutler throwing him the ball in Denver.
Did he not throw it in the right spot either?

Sorry to disagree with you...
But your definition of a catchable ball sucks. We have obviously forgotten what a franchise QB looks like when they throw the ball. Watch the highlights of where the Pro Bowl QBs put the ball on Brandon Marshall… then look at where our QBs put the ball… not even in the same league… a franchise QB throws a CATCHABLE ball…. a backup QB tries to hit the WR in the hands… then blames it on them when they drop it…

bro did u watch a single Dolphins game?
The catchable ball argument is bogus. The TDs were mostly routine grabs. Watch the tape.

If you do watch the tape...
Then watch the placement of the ball on all 3 of the deep routes that the Pro Bowl QBs threw to BM. Then look at EVERY SINGLE PASS that either Henne or Moore threw… If you don’t see a difference in placement I can not help you. You could even look at the placement of the fade route in the endzone and see where he put the ball on that one. It was thrown to where he was the closest guy to the ball. Moore would have thrown it over his right should which looks like where it should be… only the other team’s CB was right there to contest it. If the other team’s CB gets his hands in on the ball it was not placed in the right place to help the WR. Should the WR still make that catch… YES… he should catch everything that hits him in the hands.. He should win every matchup against every CB ALL THE TIME… but it is not realistic when the QB is throwing it to both the CB and WR on every single play for the WR to win every single time.

as good as Brandon Marshall may be...
What you have to realize is the guys on the other side of the ball… They get paid to break up those plays. You have to give him a reasonable shot of beating them on SOME of those plays. There has to be a few easy catches … SOMETIMES…

Have you watched the games?
Elite revivers don’t drop more touchdowns than they catch… and run out of bounds randomly (Jets game)
Elite receivers make game changing plays which B Marshall does not do.
Elite receivers don’t get arrested 10+ times
Elite receivers are Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson, Hakeem Nicks, etc.
That stat is skewed since because it is a passing league now and that the QBs of the Dolphins tried to force feed him the ball even when he was not open because he would pout if he did get his stats.
Cameron Wake and Jake Long (when healthy) are better players than this guy and it is not even close.

I am convinced the running out of bounds thing is part of the Ginn Family curse...
He was stubborn enough to stick with #19… Hopefully he has finally gotten all the drops and running out of bounds out of that jersey number now though…

He only said what we all know...
EVERY other WR or TE that made the Pro Bowl in the AFC had their own QB there with them. And with the exception of Larry Fitzgerald EVERY single WR or TE in the Pro Bowl had a franchise caliber QB throwing him the ball. If you noticed they all threw to their WR or TE, which makes sense because they were the most comfortable with them. The one difference was Marshall. Once they threw it to Marshall they seemed to keep going back to him, and he kept making plays. Say what you want about how he “threw our QBs under the bus” but he didn’t say one thing that everyone in the NFL didn’t already know. I am glad to see he is trying to recruit a QB in Matt Flynn… Philbin knows if he is the real deal or not and I am sure we will go with what he says there… It would be nice not to have to spend a draft pick and still get a franchise QB…

the only thing i see about this that folks seem to be over looking is how long has these recivers and these qbs been working together?? matt moore and marshall only had half this season to get in the grove..
and i am sorry but when a ball hits a reciever in the hands it is no longer on the qb if that ball is caught or not. marshall flat out drop those balls.. so that is on him. hell not even his hands some of them hit his chest as well. so sorry brandon. if that had been opne of what we consider an elite qb throwing them then we w all would be putting this blame square on his shoulders. but because we have we most think is a sub par back up (which i dont believe by the way) that then it is somehow on the qb. could the balls been placed better. maybe yes but then they could have also been placed alot worse.

Just because the WR is able to get his hands on the ball...
does not mean that the QB hit him in the hands with the ball… Does anyone consider that the ball might have been completely off target and the WR did everything he could to get to where he could make the play… The fact that the ball hits him in the hands 40 yards down the field doesn’t neccessarily say that the QB threw the ball anywhere near where he SHOULD have thrown that ball. A good QB will throw it to where the WR can make a play on the ball and no one else. A bad QB will leave that up to the WR to make that play.

i will give ya that i didnt mean litteraly hit him in the hands.. no qb does that.. what i am saying is if the qb puts that ball into a place that the WR gets his hands on it.. not a finger or one hand.. but hands.. then it should be caught. that is all you ask out of a qb to put that ball in a place that the WR has a chance to get the ball
common sence says if you put a stick in it and stirr if it stinks.. stop.. toss the stick and just walk away.
as my great grand pappy use to say: the only thing you should be insecure about is if your depends wont hold all of last nights dinner.
provided that the CB isn't right there...
A CB with his hands there, or who can lay into the WR when he touches the ball makes things a little more difficult… A good QB can throw his WR open though, or put it to where once the CB sees the ball it is already in the WRs hands… that is what happened on 3 of BMs 4 TDs yesterday… actually… maybe 4 of 4 … that fade in the endzone even though it was thrown to a slightly different spot that was the idea with that throw as well…

Get off of Marshall's jock already. I have tried to stay silent since you are clearly so far up Marshall's keyster you can't see the light of day (Let alone the balls Marshall dropped) but this comment is so absurd it bears rebuttal..
Nobody is denying Marshall’s ability but for a guy that dropped more TDs than he caught, he runs his mouth too much about the QBs not being good enough. Mayock said it best, Marshall can be as good as he wants to be. Problem is Marshall spent more time complaining he didn’t get the ball than he did scoring TDs and he blamed it all on Henne/Moore. Your problem is you keep defending Marshall from attacks no one is making. Nobody has said Marshall didn’t work hard enough to make big plays that weren’t there. Nobody is saying Marshall never bailed his QB out on a bad pass. We are talking about uncontested TDs that the man dropped when the hit him right in the mitts. If somebody wants to say Marshall is a bum I will call them out on it but I am not going to defend Marshall from his faults. He is uber-talented but he screws up. Are we supposed to act like it didn’t happen when he makes a mistake and blows a game altering pass? Lebron James would kill for that kind of “Friendly” media bias.
Let me refer to your latest unnecessary statements:
Just because the WR is able to get his hands on the ball…does not mean that the QB hit him in the hands with the ballDid you watch the Cleveland game? How about the Houston game? Henne (Freakin Chad Henne!) put 2 balls right in Marshall’s hands. LITERALLY right in his hands and he dropped the ball in the end zone. Go back and watch the freaking passes. They couldn’t have been any more perfect. Marshall had tougher balls to catch sent his way by the juggs machine.
Does anyone consider that the ball might have been completely off target and the WR did everything he could to get to where he could make the play… The fact that the ball hits him in the hands 40 yards down the field doesn’t neccessarily say that the QB threw the ball anywhere near where he SHOULD have thrown that ballYes. Many of us do consider these things. The sensible ones are never gonna rip a WR that goes all out to catch up to an overthrown ball and comes up short or a WR that fights tooth and nail for a ball in traffic but cannot haul it in. These are not the scenarios that Marshall is being accused of. No doubt these have occurred but you didn’t hear the QBs saying man if I threw it to a Pro Bowl receiver instead he would have caught it (maybe because Marshall was a Pro Bowl WR and he didn’t catch it).
A good QB will throw it to where the WR can make a play on the ball and no one else. A bad QB will leave that up to the WR to make that play.Moore put one right in front of Marshall (In stride with everyone behind him, I.E. TD if he catches it and stays on his feet) in San Diego and it went right through his hands. Was that one Moore’s fault for not hitting Marshall in the body? The Henne TD Marshall dropped against Houston was over the defense and plopped right into Marshall’s hands (A High School kid could have caught that ball). Nobody had a chance at the ball but BMarsh and he dropped it when it fell (This was no bullet pass that he couldn’t catch) right in his hands.
I’m not trying to crap all over the man’s capability or suggest we should trade the guy but I am saying it doesn’t matter WHO puts the ball right in his hands if he doesn’t catch it.

Seriously... is there any need to talk like this?
Go back and look at where the passes Marshall dropped were, then go back and look at the ones he caught were… If the passes are in the right place he makes those passes. Just because I don’t agree with YOUR point of view doesn’t mean I am up anyone’s keyster. I remember a franchise QB and I know what his passes looked like. I refuse to accept that hitting a WR in the hands makes it a good pass… Moore is NOT A FRANCHISE QB. Everyone knows it. If you don’t, you are an idiot, and I can’t help you. If you have a problem with Marshall saying it… too bad…

I dont think you trade a guy away who can do what he can do. Plus your not going to get a wr like him with a 2nd round pick, which would likely be what we get
