Philadelphia Eagles hire former Miami Dolphins Interim Head Coach Todd Bowles
It seems like many consider Todd an "up and coming" coach in the NFL... so I was wondering if any of you here had anything to say about him. Thanks.

Curious
I had thought it would be a higher position than secondary coach. I’m surprised he took a lateral move, but perhaps it would be an awkward situation if he had stayed, considering he interviewed for the head coaching position.
It may not be as much of a lateral move as it appears.
Some people think he could next in line for the DC job, or even the HC job here… now, I’m not sure how realistic that really is, but it’s just a thought.
I’m also guessing that Bowles is going to be the “Assistant DC” here.

Prior to taking over HC duties
He was the Secondary/Assistant Head Coach here. He’s a good coach and I think he’ll be a very good DC and maybe even HC someday. I was surprised he didn’t go right to a DC position. As a Flyers fan, I hope to see the Eagles do well. Best of luck next year.

I think Philbin already said he wasn't going to retain him...
That would be the reason for the lateral move…
We had [Brady] down… but we didn’t kick him. We helped him up and gave him a PowerPuff Girls band-aid for his knee. What exactly did you expect would happen when we did that?

glad to see he landed somewhere, he's too good of a coach to be ignored.
Good luck todd, and thanks for carrying the load for us at the end of the season.

busy "carrying the load"?
"The first thing I do when I get out of bed and feel the jolt in my knees is think of Roy Winston. On the second step, my calcified Adam's apple starts bobbing, and I think of Carl Eller. A few more steps in the dark and it's Willie Lanier. By the time I get to the bathroom, I'm flashing back to Dick Butkus and Ray Nitschke. And when the light finally comes on, I just hope that somewhere in the darkness they're thinking of me, too" - Larry Csonka.

Not sure any of us really want to know the answer to that...

Good hire by Philly.

I wasn’t sold him on being a HC yet, though I think he was prime to move up to DC.

It has been our sincere pleasure to know Todd Bowles....
we truly appreciate everything he has done and how he has represented the MIami Dolphins. Not only as a football coach but also as a human being. Todd exemplifies excellence. We most certainly wish Todd and his lovely wife Taneka all the best in Philadelphia. I think i can say that I speak for all of us at the Phinsider when I say thank you for your service to the MIami Dolphins Mr. Bowles and may God bless you and your family.

he was almost our Head Coach here ...
So you got a good coach there from what I can see… We didn’t really see much here from a CB aspect, but he was not awful at getting our young guys to develop either.
We had [Brady] down… but we didn’t kick him. We helped him up and gave him a PowerPuff Girls band-aid for his knee. What exactly did you expect would happen when we did that?
He is a very good hire
Good luck to him
